The region is a popular tourist and artist destination, and the surrounding coastal region boasts beautiful ocean views, diverse landscapes, and year-round recreational opportunities. The community is also a working-waterfront community and a hub of regional manufacturing with a growing year-round economy, blending a broad spectrum of socio-economic needs.
